Privacy Policy

Effective date: Jun 2026

1. Who operates SkillStorr

SkillStorr ("SkillStorr," "we," "us," "our") is a service that lets you build a personal library of prompts and skills and use them in third-party AI tools through our MCP server. This policy explains what data we handle and why.
SkillStorr is operated jointly by two Ukrainian individual entrepreneurs (фізична особа-підприємець, "FOP"): Individual Entrepreneur Bohdan Tsaryk and Individual Entrepreneur Mykyta Haidaienko, Ukraine.
Contact: [email protected]

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: your email address, a username/display name, and login credentials (passwords are stored hashed; or an identifier from your single sign-on provider).
  • Your content: the prompts, skills, comments, and versions you create. Kept private by default; visible to others only if you publish them to the public catalog or share them.
  • API keys: generated when you connect SkillStorr to an AI tool via our MCP server.
  • Usage data: basic technical and usage information collected automatically, such as IP address, device/browser type, and the pages and features you use.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data — please don't put it in your prompts.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to: create and run your account; store, organize, version, and serve your prompts and skills; deliver prompts to your chosen AI tool when you invoke them; keep the service secure and prevent abuse; understand usage so we can improve; and communicate with you about the service.
For users in the EEA/UK, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you (to provide the service), our legitimate interests (security and improvement), and your consent (for non-essential cookies and any marketing).

4. Your prompts and AI

We do not train any AI models on your private prompts.
When you invoke a prompt or skill, we send its content to the third-party AI provider you have connected (for example, through the MCP server). At that point your content is handled by that provider under their privacy policy.
We store your prompts and skills so the service works. If you publish a prompt to the public catalog, it and your display name become public to anyone — only publish what you're comfortable making public.

5. Who we share data with

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run SkillStorr, under confidentiality obligations:
  • Hosting: [HOSTING PROVIDER]
  • Analytics: Google Analytics
  • AI providers: see Section 4
  • Payments: a paid marketplace is not available yet; when it launches we'll use Stripe and update this policy.
We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of users and the service.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and keep the service secure. We use Google Analytics to understand usage. If you are in the EEA/UK, we ask for your consent before setting analytics cookies; if you are in California, you can opt out of analytics-based "sharing" via our cookie settings or a Global Privacy Control signal. You can also control cookies in your browser.

7. Data retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period after you close your account, unless we must keep it for legal reasons. We protect data with measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, and hashed credentials, but no system is perfectly secure.

8. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or close your account, by emailing [email protected].
  • EEA/UK users: you also have rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
  • California users: you have rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of any "sale"/"sharing" of personal information, with no discrimination for exercising them.
We respond to requests within the time required by law.

9. Children

SkillStorr is not for children. You must be at least 16 (or the minimum age in your country) to use it. We don't knowingly collect data from children below that age.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as SkillStorr grows; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you. Questions or requests: [email protected]..
